Bad Umpiring in Game 4

Some bad calls in game four of the ALCS - Nick Swisher easily picked off second base, then called safe. Then seemingly a make-up call when he is called out for leaving the base too early and trying to score (clearly did not leave early on the replay). Then the next inning, two Yankees off third base, tagged, and both should be out, but only one called out. What is happening?

8/11/06 - LA Angels of Anaheim vs New York Yankees

I remember going to this game but I don't remember that much more about it. I think Corey Lidle started it and the Yankees lost. We had nice seats that I got on eBay and the weather was great.
