Surly

I like how the headline of this article is that Bonds "raged against the media". Given his predicament, "rage" is an interesting choice of language. I wonder if his general surliness is related to 'roid rage.

It sounded a bit like he doesn't see why using steroids was a bad thing, but while not directly admitting he used steroids, he didn't deny it either.

Hmm.

Sportscenter just ran a feature where teammates of Barry Bonds compared him to Albert Belle, who was also considered to be a misunderstood slugger. Cited was their work ethic and their passion for success. Would Bonds really want to be compared to Belle, who was known to use corked bats?

Then, they ran a feature where Jose Canseco supported the Bonds comments from last night. Do you really want Jose Canseco in your corner?

Did Canseco also support Bonds' comments that went something to the effect of, "Canseco? I was way better than that bum for my entire career!"
