One more post to complete a set of three for the morning.

At the seventh inning stretch of every Yankee game they play "God Bless America" in honor of troops serving in the military.

As the music is played, the lyrics are posted on the jumbo screen.

"Thru the night with a light from above"

We can't write out the word as "through"? I felt like I was reading a teenager's IM conversation. What scares me is the implication that the fans would more likely sing the correct word if it's "thru" instead of "through" (th-ruff?).
