Has anyone noticed that the last three World Series champions were Wild Card winners?
Also, since 1996, the winner of the World Series has either been the Yankees or a Wild Card team, aside from Arizona in '01.
Strangely enough, when the Yankees were the Wild Card ('95 & '97) they got knocked out.
This year, the "Wild Card" beat the "Cards."
