Approximately One Sentence About Each Piece of Media I've Consumed in the Last Few Weeks

House of Flying Daggers - An entertaining film but a bit melodramatic.

Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou - I liked Royal Tennenbaums better because the characters were deeper. On the other hand, I didn't like Rushmore, so take my opinion for what it's worth.

Simpsons Season 5 - Best. Season. Ever?

Elf - Cute, but I couldn't help feel like I was watching Will Ferrell act like a kid way too much.

Return of the King Extended Edition - 50 extra minutes to the theatrical cut. If you liked it the first time, you'll love the extended cut. If not, it's the same as the theatrical plus 50 minutes. What do you think?

U2 - How to Dismantle an Atomic Bomb - They co-marketed this with the release of a U2 themed iPod. This is not their strongest work.

Linkin Park/Jay-Z Collision Course - A CD with only 6 songs (21 minutes)!! And the RIAA wonders why people steal music.

Metal Gear Solid 3 - Great video game. I wish I had more time. Not as confusing as MGS2 (at least, so far).

America by Jon Stewart - Just about every sentence in this book makes me laugh.

Meet the Fockers - Not as charming as the first. Funny enough, but not a classic.

Arrested Development Season 1 - This show is hilarious. Watch it.

daggers - more of the same

life aquatic - i liked rushmore better than royal and life - like how i like pulp fiction better than kill bill

simpsons season 5 - back this up please

elf - i didn't get it - why was this funny again? kind of like the same feeling i had watching the grinch

rings extended - only nerds like this version. period.

u2 - is it considered comarketed when the band received no money for the use of their song in the ipod ads? even if it's not their strongest, it still made them lots of dough (at this stage of your career when you're really really rich, why even go on when you can no longer relate to the common man because you're so rich you're out of touch? just retire)

linkin park - how did they sell so many albums? is this really the band that defines this current music generation like pearl jam/nirvana did 10 years ago?

mgs3 - no comment/no ps2

america - fake news = pure genius, craig kilborn must be very sad somewhere

fockers - sequels always suck more than the first, unless it was originally written as a triology or the sequels were written before the original came out as a movie

arrested - funnier than seinfeld/curb your enthusiasm?

The Simpsons S5 - check any episode guide and you'll find many classic Simpsons episodes.

U2 - They don't have to relate to the common man to make good music. Their last album was quite good and they had already "made it" at that point.

Linkin Park - The current music generation is not as well defined as the early 90's generation was. There are many more sources for media and the market is far more fragmented.

America: The Book is actually a fake textbook more than it is fake news.

Terminator 2 - a sequel better than the original. Also, some may argue Godfather 2, X-Men 2, Spider-Man 2 to name a few.

Arrested Development can still be funny without having to be funnier than Seinfeld.

Sequels - terminator 1 was better, i think godfather triolgy screenplay was written before filiming, same for spiderman (screenplay written before filming)
