Salary Scale

Am I the only one who finds it fairly amusing that Armstrong Williams got paid $240,000 to support the "No Child Left Behind" Act, but the Vice President only gets paid about $200,000 per year?

In a related story, who the hell is Armstrong Williams?

huh?

why are you comparing the VP to this armstrong guy?

was the no child left behind thing the VP's idea?

No the point is that $240,000 is a lot to give to a guy who already agrees with you to agree with you publically. Especially considering that the Vice-President makes less money and one would think, carries even more influence.

Cheney's tax returns showed that he made $1.3 million.

Plus the Armstrong guy did not directly receive the $.
1. The money bought ad time on his show.
2. The money went to his production company (which is his).
