Ms. Subways
I'm obviously not getting the point of this. Aren't the subways dirty, nasty and smelly? Why would anyone want to be associated with this, particularly in a format that implies "beauty pageant?"

I think that the era of really nasty subways is mostly past. I really enjoy the subways and elevated trains in New York, DC, Boston, Chicago, and Philadelphia (not to mention Paris, Tokyo...). Riding public transit makes you feel linked to the heart of the city, as well as feeling like you know your way around long before you really do.

You must be riding the chichi subways around 42nd St. Come on further uptown where we grow the rats bigger and the trash piles and puddles are smellier!
