Double Standard?

Does all this info about steroids and Barry Bonds represent a double standard? For example, it appears the general consensus is that everything Bonds has accomplished is now worth nothing. But Mark McGwire admitted to using androstenedione, and although it is legal, it is now banned by Major League Baseball. Nobody questions his records. Just observing.

Most sports have a predominantly white fan base. Thus double standard.

What records does McGwire have?
I thought Barry broke all of his significant ones.

When McGwire broke Maris's record, nobody was crying about andro. That's my point. When Bonds broke McGwire's record, everyone screamed steroids. Seems like a double standard to me.

Well there's no definitive proof so far.
Unlike when Sammy's bat shattered.

Well there's a ton of circumstantial proof.

1) Jason Giambi admits he uses steroids, and in the same form as Bonds says he used but didn't know it was steroids.

2) Giambi's supply comes from Barry Bonds' trainer, who he meets through Bonds.

3) Professional atheletes are very anal about what they put in their bodies (as well they should be).

4) There is a huge amount of pressure to succeed in pro sports and a huge amount of money if you do.
