Sports Controversy

Consider:

NFL comes under fire when star wide receiver does silly promo with nearly naked television star. NFL is bailed out when...

NBA stars, after having beer thrown on them by fans, incite a riot by entering the stands and fighting. NBA is bailed out when...

MLB superstar grand jury testimony is released by unknown person, revealing that game's best hitter is using steroids. MLB is bailed out when...

NHL or College Football? I believe it's your turn for a bail out.

College Football
Clemson vs South Carolina brawl - players claimed it was OK because of the NBA brawl a couple of days before.

What the hell is up with the BCS?
How can a team that sits at home move up in rankings versus a team that WON the game (with its only loss being to the #1 team in the country)?
Why don't they disclose the coach's poll like they do with the AP writer's poll for accountability?
I hope Texas gets crushed in the Rose Bowl by Michigan so that Mack Brown looks like an idiot and the Rose Bowl committee will realize that the Rose Bowl should go back to the Pac 10 and Big 10 format. They don't need the additional publicity unlike the sad Holiday Bowl.

The Clemson incident was not a major incident. I want a major, all-out stripper scandal.

First, it was the polls, not the BCS that gave Texas the boost over Cal. Secondly, the rankings will always be arbitrary unless all the teams play each other or there is some sort of playoff. But even with a playoff, the seedings would be arbitrary. People should stop crying.
