Just When I Think it's Safe to Root for the Jets

Well, they keep winning... BIG BIG BIG game next week vs. Pittsburgh.

Here are some other things we've learned today in the NFL

-Indy can sure score
-If the Super Bowl champ is not from the AFC it will be a major upset
-Teams that are not that good but have playoff chances: Rams, Falcons, Vikings
-Teams that are quite good: New England
-The Jets may make it to the playoffs with 11 wins after all
-Worst divisions in football - NFC West, NFC South

Indy can score, but as Sports Guy says, Indy has been showing all of its cards in the regular season and thus will get crushed in the playoffs.
Compare to New England which keeps many of its plays hidden and will save the good ones for the playoffs and will during the regular season show formations and use different plays than in the playoffs.
Thus New England rocks, Indy fizzles out.

Obviously the Super Bowl champ will come from the AFC - because the Patriots play in the AFC. Duh. I hope you just didn't learn that today.

Teams not good that have a chance - all in the NFC - will lose to the Eagles.

New England quite good?
Have you been watching football the past 3 years?

Jets will have 13 wins.

All of the NFC sucks.

Since Indy will have home field in the playoffs, I think it's a good chance they will win one game in the playoffs. Of course, they will then go on to face New England in some sort of horrific weather, lose the game on some ambiguous call, then New England will go into Pittsburgh, beat the piss out of the Steelers (who are New England's bitches) and then go on to beat the team that beat the Eagles in the NFC Championship game.

If the Jets beat both New England and Pittsburgh then they'll have a shot at the AFC East crown. I don't think that's likely.
